The BWT Multi C 1000 is a high-performance activated carbon filtration system for point-of-entry use. During filtration, water flows from top to bottom through the activated carbon bed where contaminants are absorbed.

After processing a set water volume, the unit automatically performs a backwash, flushing out impurities and refreshing the filter media. A built-in bypass valve ensures that water supply continues during cleaning.
